Of barbeque and the Civil War
I spent the day today with the family at Camp Floyd State Park. Every year on Labor Day they have a big party with Civil War historical events; like shooting a musket, playing kids games, making a dipped candle, and listening to historical reenactors as they show how things were done 150 years ago. Cassie had a great time making the candle and marching all around the park with her toy musket. If you have never been, I suggest you check it out next year.
