Just for fun...
Some of you might already know about this, but I have been taking an Improv workshop class at the "local" Comedy Sportz. The class is a lot of fun, and I get to hang out with some very talented people while honing my improvisational comedy skills. I have been attending the class for several months now, working on my understanding of scene work as well as how the different "games" are played at CSZ. Well, long story short, we had a performance last Tuesday for those of us in the intermediate class. There were six of us performing, two teams of three players going head-to-head in games of improv. We each had to pay our class fee of $5 to perform, and the audience members got in for free. The performance was great, both the players and audience had some good laughs, and I got a chance to roll out some of my accents on an unsuspecting audience. If you are in the Provo area, I highly recommend an evening of fun at Comedy Sportz. It is good clean fun and inexpensive as well. In the somewhat immortal words of McCartney/Lennon "a splendid time is guaranteed for all."
